Information day in Skopje
The Joint Research Centre, the European Commission's in-house science service and the Ministry of Education and Science are jointly organising an information day in Skopje.
Panče Kralev, Minister of Education and Science, Nikola Poposki, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vladimír Šucha, Deputy Director General of the JRC, will take part in the opening.

Mr. Kralev and Mr. Šucha will announce at 10:20h an enhanced scientific cooperation between the parties on the fields of: energy (non-nuclear), environment, climate change, health and consumer protection (including food safety), nanotechnology, biotechnology and natural disasters.
During the event, scientists and policy makers will explain several topics related to these fields of common interest, such as earthquake engineering, quality management in food safety, standards and nanobiotechnnology, science and innovation for the environment as well as institutional networks and collaboration opportunities.
