Evaluation Reports

Evaluation is a judgement of interventions according to their results, impacts and the needs they aim to satisfy (internal evaluation guide for Commission services).

The JRC's Evaluation Function (EF) promotes the provision of fact-based judgement on the JRC's activities with a view to improving the design and management of the JRC, supporting its decision making on priorities and resource allocation, and enhancing its accountability.

 

Impact analysis of JRC activities - Special report for the 100th meeting of the Board of Governors

This special Report presents an impact analysis of the direct actions of the JRC to investigate where and how JRC deliverables make a difference for science and governance in EU policy and regulation. A statistical analysis of the immediate impact of JRC activities shows the footprint of the collective impact for 2012. Selected case studies analyse the long-term impact of ongoing policy support. The report has been prepared at the occasion of the 100th meeting of the JRC's Board of Governors.

Impact analysis of the Joint Research Centre’s activities for the regulation of GMOs in the European Union

This report presents an analysis of impacts and results from the JRC’s scientific and technical support for the implementation of the EU regulations for genetically modified organisms (GMO). Interim Evaluation Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community (2007-2013) Direct actions of the Joint Research Centre

This report presents the interim evaluation of the direct actions by the Joint Research Centre under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Community (EC) for research, technological development and demonstration activities (2007 to 2013). The Five-Year Assessment of the Joint Research Centre 2003
