Research cooperation between the JRC and Portugal
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre is organising together with the Foundation for Science and Technology of Portugal a series of events in Lisbon and Porto between 28 and 30 November 2012.
Conference
On 29 November 2012 a conference on "Research cooperation between the JRC and Portugal" will take place in Lisbon with three thematic session:
- Environment / eco-innovation
- Nanomaterials and food safety
- Security and space (non-nuclear)
The objective is to discuss possibility for scientific cooperation and how the JRC can serve better the policy-makers in the EU and in the Member States.

Seminars
The JRC is also organising two seminars for the young Portuguese researchers (on 28 November in Lisbon and on 30 November in Porto). The objective is to reach the young scientific community in Portugal and present to them the different opportunities, which the JRC offers in terms of both jobs and scientific cooperation.
