Renewable energy in Europe: achieving our goals with a little help from the Mediterranean sun

In Barcelona today and tomorrow as part of the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF2008), scientists from the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) will explain the significant potential of renewable energies in the Mediterranean countries to help address today's energy and environment-related challenges.
