The sixth edition of the World Water Forum, the world's largest meeting about water, will take place from 12 to 17 March in Marseille, France. Held every three years, it addresses the challenges of sustainable development related to the water distribution. Its objective is to put water high on all political agendas.

The organisers have developed a series of priorities and topics which will be discussed during the week-long event.
The Forum will welcome over 800 speakers and expected 25000 participants. The programme will feature high level round tables within more than 250 sessions and panel discussions. JRC will showcase its activities with a stand, and Director General Dominique Ristori will take part as a speaker
