Contract Staff members
Contract Staff members perform a variety of tasks ranging from scientific/technical tasks to administrative and manual tasks, under the supervision of officials or temporary staff. There are four function groups (FG), each with different eligibility criteria, salaries and tasks. The relevant information concerning each function group can be found below:
- Function group IV
Administrative, advisory, linguistic and equivalent technical tasks - Function group III
Executive tasks, drafting, accountancy and other equivalent technical tasks - Function group II
Clerical or secretarial tasks, office management and other equivalent tasks - Function group I
Manual and administrative support-service tasks
Since the beginning of March 2011, FGIV, FGIII and FGII are referred to as auxiliary contract staff and FGI as contract staff.
