Scientific Support for the Transition to a Low Carbon Economy

The JRC and the Directorate General for Climate Action (CLIMA) have jointly organised an event today in Copenhagen under the auspices of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The conference “Scientific Support for the Transition to a Low Carbon Economy” attracted 130 participants, providing a forum for discussions on how scientific advice can best contribute to robust policy frameworks in the fight against climate change and the transition to a low carbon economy.
