The latest edition of the JRC Newsletter has been published and can be downloaded here.
This issue features an editorial by Janez Potočnik, EU Commissioner for Environment. The cover story provides an insight in rising food prices, supported by JRC’s crop monitoring and market analysis.
Among the news are stories on shale gas impact on EU’s energy market, scientific support to nuclear decommissioning, “business as usual” patterns for declining air quality and technical challenges to measuring nanomaterials.
