OBJECTIVES
They are:
- Review and update the methodological framework for the assessments of the outputs of EU funded research in ICT in terms of scientific publications (scientific articles and papers in peer reviewed conferences) and patents.
- Produce a consolidated database of publications and patents for FP7-ICT. This will involve the review and quality check of the data collected by DG INFSO on a yearly basis and their subsequent integration with the data from previous years. This database will constitute the basis for the analysis of publications and patents mentioned in point 3.
- Conduct an extensive assessment of the publications and patents of EU funded research in ICT under FP7. The methodological framework that will be developed in point 1 will play and instrumental role in the development of the annual and overall assessment.
