The new evaluation strategy of the Commission (SEC(2007)213), requires improved planning of evaluation activities. The same requirement is established at the legal base, the EU Decision establishing the CIP (Official Journal, 9-11-2006). This Decision stipulates that the Commission shall regularly monitor the implementation of the CIP and its specific programmes. Following these regulations the following activities are taking place to monitor the CIP Policy Support Programme.

- The CIP ICT PSP second interim (final) evaluation [714 KB] was finalised in December 2011. It was chaired by Professor Graham Vickery. The study also included the follow up of panel report [210 KB] .
