Mission

La direction générale de l'informatique de la Commission européenne a pour mission de permettre à celle-ci d'utiliser efficacement les technologies de l'information et de la communication pour atteindre ses objectifs en ce qui concerne tant son organisation que ses politiques.

 

The European Commission signed an agreement with OpenPEPPOL

11/05/2015In the terms of the agreement, the Commission will host a central service of the eDelivery network – the Service Metadata Locator - which allows participants in the network to dynamically locate each other across Europe. 

SEMIC 2015 – 5th Semantic Interoperability Conference (Riga, 5 May 2015)

27/04/2015On 5 May, the ISA Programme of the European Commission is organising its annual conference on Semantic Interoperability for e-Government, together with the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Last year's conference attracted some 200 participants from more than 30 countries. 

The European Commission has renewed its internal Open Source Software Strategy

27/03/2015The 10-point document focuses on the procurement of open source software and the Commission's services contribution to open source software projects. The strategy also provides for more of the software developed within the Commission to be published as open source.
