Informaatika peadirektoraadi ülesanne on võimaldada komisjonil tõhusalt ja tulemuslikult kasutada info- ja sidetehnoloogiat, et saavutada oma organisatsioonilised ja poliitilised eesmärgid.

 

EU tech companies invited to bid to provide Cloud services for the EU

The call for tender aims to secure about 2500 Virtual Machines and 2500 Terabytes of storage for up to four years. This will enable EU institutions to use cloud-based IT services before the end of 2015.

The call for tender is in line with the European Cloud Computing Strategy, adopted by the European Commission in September 2012, which aims at speeding up cloud uptake across Europe.

EU Survey

Launched in 2013, EUSurvey is the European Commission's official online survey-management system built for the creation of user satisfaction surveys and public consultations. Built at DIGIT and financed by the ISA programme, EUSurvey is fully open source. EUSurvey is offered as a public service to all European Citizens and can be accessed here.
