Together against trafficking in human beings

At the occasion of the 5th EU Day against human trafficking, the heads of CEPOL, the European Asylum Support Office, the European Institute for Gender Equality, Eurojust, Europol, The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights and Frontex have issued a joint statement in Warsaw today. They commit to address trafficking in human beings in a coordinated and comprehensive manner. In collaboration with EU countries, institutions and civil society within and outside of the EU, they intend to focus on better prevention of trafficking, more efficient investigation and prosecution of perpetrators, and a more effective protection of victims.
