Steps to advance cooperation within Eastern partnership

Today, the European Commission has put forward several proposals to consolidate and further strengthen the existing framework for dialogue and cooperation with its Eastern Partners, including work on thematic priorities. These proposals come in addition to the reports on the implementation by Republic of Moldova and by Ukraine of their respective Action Plans on Visa Liberalisation and to its recommendation to open negotiations on visa facilitation and readmission with Armenia and Azerbaijan, already presented last week.
