What's new

EU Home Affairs is a dynamic policy field that evolves continuously in response to the opportunities and challenges that arise from the European area without internal borders and from increased globalisation.

To keep you informed, we post all latest policy developments in the news section. You are invited to help shape EU Home Affairs policies by giving feedback on files under preparation and adopted proposals, or by responding to our open public consultations. The European Commission takes action when an EU State does not comply with EU law; data on EU Home Affairs infringement cases are available since December 2004.
