Programme finalised: DG SANCO High-level Conference to discuss Future Challenges on 29/30 October – over 400 participants registered!

Key-note speeches will be delivered by Consumers' Commissioner Meglena Kuneva and Health Commissioner Androulla Vassiliou at DG SANCO's high-level conference entitled "Delivering for Tomorrow's European Consumers" on 29/30 October.

The programme of this conference has now been finalised and over 400 participants have registered. In addition to panel sessions with external experts, young Europeans across the EU-27 will participate in the parallel sessions and be given the opportunity to express their views on how they see their future, thanks to the support of the European Youth Forum

During the lunch session of the conference, a technology exhibition showing new technologies that may become part of citizens' lives in the next ten years will be exhibited giving conference participants the opportunity to discover prototypes and concrete examples of innovative technologies in the fields of food, public health and animal health.
