Vacancy for EFSA executive director announced
The Commission has launched the first stage of the recruitment process for a new Executive Director of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The Executive Director is the legal representative and public face of EFSA, whose duties include day-to-day management of the Authority, developing and achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives, preparing and executing EFSA’s budget and work programmes, and facilitating contact and co-operation with the Commission, Parliament, Member States and stakeholders. The position is based in Parma, Italy.
