Commissioner Kuneva's first 'Have a safe Christmas' webchat

Today from 17.00 to 19.00 Mrs Meglena Kuneva, the Commissioner for Consumer Protection, will participate in  the 'Have a safe Christmas' webchat. Citizens will have the chance to discuss their concerns on products, and in particular toy safety, with the Commissioner on-line.

With the Christmas season approaching, the Commissioner wants to draw citizens' attention to the rights they enjoy and ensure that the products they purchase, in particular toys for their children, are safe. Some further issues she will highlight regard citizens' rights as on-line shoppers, how to return defective products, which organizations and laws are in place to protect their rights, as well as sharing ideas and views on other consumer protection issues.

To participate in the on-line chat with the Mrs Kuneva, citizens must post their queries, providing their name and e-mail address and reply to an anti-spam question. The queries will be answered in: English, French, German, Italian or Bulgarian. Access to the chat will be through Mrs Kuneva's website by clicking on the 'Your Space' button.
