Bulgarian and Romanian plant varieties listed in Official Journal for first time
Agricultural and vegetable plant varieties from Bulgaria and Romania were listed in the Common Catalogues of the Official Journal for the first time on 4 January. The inclusion of the seed and propagating material of these varieties ensures that they can now be marketed freely across the EU without restriction.
The Common Catalogues list all the varieties of seed from countries in the EU and the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), as well as Switzerland, that can be marketed freely. It was first published in 1975.
