FP7 ‘Information Days’ for Transport on 06/07 February 2008
The Directorate-General for Research and the Directorate-General
for Energy and Transport will hold joint ‘Information Days’ for Transport (including
Aeronautics) on 06 and 07 February 2008.
The aim of this two-day event is to disseminate information
about FP7 and the research areas open in the 2008 Calls for Proposals on the
themes of Aeronautics and Surface Transport within the Cooperation Programme, to
give details about the main legal and procedural conditions, and to answer any
questions.
The first day (06 February 2008) will focus on the 2nd FP7
Aeronautics Call (FP7-AAT-2008-RTD-1), the second day (07 February 2008) will be
dedicated to the 2nd FP7 Calls in Transport (FP7-SST-2008-RTD-1, FP7-TPT-2008-RTD-1,
FP7-SST-2008-TREN-1). Both days will also tackle the "Cross-cutting activities"
call (FP7-TPT-2008-RTD-1).
The event will take place in the Charlemagne building, rue de
la Loi 170, Brussels.

Development (FP7) have been launched on 22 December 2006. |

The first day (13 February 2007) will focus on the 1st FP7 Energy Calls,
the second day (14 February 2007) will be dedicated to the 1st FP7 Calls
in the areas of Transport and Aeronautics. |

Fifth call
for Proposals
On 22nd December 2005 the 5th call for
proposals for Priority 8 (FP6-2005-SSP-5-A)
has been published on CORDIS with the budget of € 77 million. This
includes an indicative budget of € 8,6 million for a number of topics which are
of direct relevance to transport policies (e.g. tools and indicators for
sustainable transport and security training for transport staff).
The deadline for submitting proposals is
22nd March 2006 at 17.00 (Brussels local
time).
