European Commission postpones introduction of rules on maximum cabin baggage size
 

The Commission decided to postpone the implementation of rules on maximum cabin baggage size, as more time is needed to reassess the advantages and disadvantages they entail, notably regarding air security and passengers' comfort.

Global Energy Efficiency Initiative: Commissioner Piebalgs at EU-G8 Conference in Berlin
 

European Commissioner Andris Piebalgs will represent the European Commission at the EU-G8 Conference on Energy Efficiency in Berlin on the 20th and the 21st of April. He will be speaking about strategies and objectives for energy efficiency at EU level. The objective of the Conference is to foster the dialogue on market-oriented solutions for the demand side and to support the ongoing policymaking process aimed at enhancing energy efficiency.
