The 7^th EU-China Energy Conference                 chinese version

Brussels, 6 & 7 November 2008 (Charlemagne Building)

The EU-China Energy Conference gathers together high-level European and Chinese representatives from industry and the administration every two years, alternating between China and Brussels. It is co-organized by the Chinese Ministry of Sciences and Technology and the Directorate General Transport & Energy (TREN).

The six main themes of this two-days Conference are:

a) Renewable energy for power generation (solar & wind);
b) Increasing role of biofuels;
c) Promoting hydrogen energy and fuel cells;
d) Coal and gas hydrates;
e) Carbon Capture and Storage
f) Nuclear energy
