Elements of
the
visual identity
Mandatory
elements
Any communication or publication, whether from a National Agency or a beneficiary, in whatever form and on whatever medium, including the Internet, must state that the information expressed therein reflects the views only of the author, and that the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the
information (model).
As specified in the provisions concerning National Agencies for the implementation of programmes and, more especially, in the specifications for technical assignments, under point B1 (provision of information, advice and dissemination of results), any communication material or tool designed for promoting the programme, informing the public and disseminating the results must use the logo designed by the Commission.
National agencies
The visual identity must be used, as described in this document, on all information media of whatever type (e.g. paper, Internet, multimedia, exhibition stands, promotional material, etc.) or whatever nature (letter paper, fax, forms, agreements with beneficiaries, reports, documents on calls for proposals, outreach brochures, newsletters, etc.).
To avoid any confusion of image, the idea is that the Agency must retain its own identity when it issues documents.
Any logo used by the National Agency must be placed at the head of documents (e.g. letterhead) and may be combined with the Community's visual identity.
Unless the Commission requests otherwise, any communication or publication (including letters, forms, agreements or other documents proposing financial support under the programme) from the National Agency, including material for conferences or seminars, must mention the Commission's support.
Beneficiaries
Unless the Commission requests otherwise, any communication or publication from the beneficiary, including material for conferences and seminars, must mention the fact that the scheme is receiving financial support from the Commission.
Model
This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
This publication [communication] reflects the views only of the author, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
