Financial support for initiatives under Plan D

In accordance with point 3.3 of the Call for Proposals DG COMM A2-1/2006 the following are the projects considered positively (in terms of communication interest) by the "Evaluation Committee" in charge of analysing the applications:

  1. "Tomorrow's Europe" introduced by the foundation "Notre Europe" ;
  2. "European Citizens Consultations" introduced by Fondation Roi Baudouin ;
  3. "Speak up Europe" introduced by the European Mouvement International ;
  4. "Our message to Europe" introduced by Deutsche Gesellschaft ;
  5. "Radio Web Europe" introduced by Cenasca;
  6. "Our Europe -Our Debate - Our Contributions" introduced by Europa Haz Egyesulet

This list is to be considered as the "reserve list" foreseen in the point 4 of the above mentioned Call for Proposals and is provided for information purposes only. It does not constitute any commitment that the six aforementioned projects will be finally funded by the Commission.

The Commission will exploit this list according to the budgetary availability during 2006. To this end each potential beneficiary will be contacted individually in order to proceed to the compulsory procedure of verification established by the Financial Regulations. The Commission will also proceed to an analysis of the costs inscribed in the budged of the project presented by each potential beneficiary. Only at the end of these verifications, and provided the budgetary coverage is available, the individual awarding decisions will be taken.

4. Financing

The amount of the grant is between:

- a minimum of €250 000 for projects involving the candidate organisation and a minimum of four other partner organisations. These must each be established in an different EU Member State;

- a minimum of €600 000 for projects involving the candidate organisation and a minimum of seven other partner organisations. These must each be established in an different EU Member State.

APCAV 2006

The European Commission (Directorate General Communication) publishes the APCAV 2006 Call for Proposals, whose aim is to co-finance TV information programmes on the actuality of the European Union.
