Training in cinema and audiovisual media

The MEDIA programme contains a whole section on training for professionals in the audiovisual industry.

It cofinances mainly further training, while basic training receives funding only in areas which do not qualify for national or Community support measures.

The aim of this training is to enable professionals to make the most of the European and international dimension of the market and to use new technologies in the production and distribution of works.

MEDIA supports training in economic, financial and commercial management, screenplay writing and multimedia technologies.

A further aim of the MEDIA programme is to set up cooperation networks between bodies providing audiovisual training.
