Being awarded the label means that you will:

• be entitled to display the plaque bearing the logo of the European Heritage Label at the entrance to your site
• have greater visibility for your site by being integrated in the EU's communication and promotion strategy for the European Heritage Label
• be invited to attend the annual conference of site managers , to benefit from networking opportunities and peer learning

Do I get any money?

The budget of the European Heritage Label (under €1 million per year) will cover the costs of running the initiative at EU level, namely the costs of the European panel of experts, the European communication strategy and the networking activities.

There will be no direct funding for the sites receiving the label.

Labelled sites can however apply for support from other existing Community programmes.
