Online Distribution

What is it for?

Creative Europe provides support for transnational marketing, branding and distribution of European audiovisiual and video-on-demand service.

The aim of this is to promote innovative actions and test new distribution modes to improve the circulation of and access to European audiovisual works.

What does it support?

Funding exists for three main types of actions:

1. Support to video-on-demand (VOD) services

2. Support to the development of "On Line Ready" packages

3. Support to innovative, multi-platform releases

These are designed to benefit European professionals of the audiovisual industry, including producers, distributors, sales agents, exhibitors, and rights aggregators, as well as service providers.

Who can take part?

Online distribution opportunities are open to legal entities, such as private companies, non-profit organisations, associations, etc.) established in one of the countries participating in the MEDIA-sub programme.

The organisation should be owned (directly or through majority participation) by nationals from eligible countries.

Individuals may not apply for a grant.
