Talents in photo-dialogue: Winners of “Cultures on my street” revealed

Ján Figel’, European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth, announced the winners in the “Cultures on my street” photo competition. More than 2,000 entries were received in response to the invitation to portray the theme of intercultural dialogue.
Joseph Smith from Malta won the 1st Prize for his image “Village cobbler”, Nikolaj Lund from Denmark won the 2nd Prize, Jérôme Clair from France was awarded with the 3rd Prize, and Simon Vansteenwinckel's picture was chosen for the Public’s Favourite award by visitors of the website www.street-cultures.eu.
