Several projects are hiding behind each theme : Cultural Heritage, performing arts, visual arts, literature.
Simply choose your favourite theme and
start watching. The projects were presented in-depth at this year's Culture in Motion conference organised 28 September in Brussels in order to stimulate exchange of experience between cultural operators and raise awareness of cultural activities supported by the Culture programme 2007-2013. You will find examples of projects promoting the mobility of artists, circulation of works, access by young people to culture, synergies with education, access to our common cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue, and creativity and innovation. Several projects also address equal opportunities themes and some link up to the subject of climate change. All the projects are described in our latest publication, the
Culture in Motion brochure 2009.
The Culture Programme supports cooperation projects, organisations, promotional activities and research in all cultural sectors, except the audiovisual sector, for which there is a separate programme (MEDIA).
