Calls for expressions of interest - Culture sector Platforms

Following an information session organised in Brussels on 19 February and the publication of a call for expressions of interest [43 KB] (the form [47 KB] ) giving organisations from the culture sector the opportunity to express their interest in participating in the new culture platforms, the Commission announces that the following organisations have been invited to the first constitutive meeting of the platforms on access to culture and on the potential of culture and creative industries .

These first meetings will take place in early June with the objective to establish each platform's work programme as well as designate its governing bodies (chairperson, secretariat and bureau). Invited organisations have received an invitation and all useful information by email.

The already existing "Rainbow Platform on Intercultural Dialogue" jointly set up by Culture Action Europe (EFAH) and the European Cultural Foundation (ECF), will hold a meeting dedicated to shaping the recommendations on intercultural dialogue addressed to civil society organisations and to the EU into an effective tool for mobilisation and advocacy.
