The results of the first call for proposals under the Creative Europe - Culture Sub-programme for European Networks have been published.
The Culture Sub-programme supports European Networks active in the cultural and creative sectors.
Networks will carry out activities to strengthen the capacity of these sectors to operate trans-nationally and internationally and to adapt to change. The financial support aims to foster and promote cultural and linguistic diversity and strengthen the competitiveness of these sectors, as well as promote innovation.
Selected networks were required to have at least 15 member organisations, established in at least 10 different countries, of which at least five were different European Union Member States. Selected networks were also required to sign a framework partnership agreement for a length of at least three years, with a maximum grant of €250,000 per year.
The deadline of the call for proposals was 19/03/2014.
Grants were awarded to 22 European Networks, out of 58 proposals, for a total amount of close to €4.4 million.
The results are available on the website of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.
