Continuous training projects
Since its beginnings in 1990 the MEDIA programme has devoted a substantial amount of its budget to co-finance training initiatives developed by professionals for professionals.
More than 1500 professionals coming from countries participating in the MEDIA Programme are trained every year through MEDIA funded training initiatives where they have the opportunity to acquire new skills, network; fine-tune their projects thanks to the tutors senior expertise; explore new technologies and expand their contact base.
For 2012, MEDIA will
support 52 new Training courses in order to meet the demand and needs from the
Audiovisual industry across sectors.
