MEDIA supports networking of film schools and universities with the long-term goal of helping them be more European/international. Facilitating student/trainer mobility in Europe and adaptation of the curriculum to the needs of an increasingly internationalised audiovisual industry improves the professional prospects of the students.

The projects supported explore together with the industry ways to better prepare the next generation of European filmmakers, covering subjects as crucial as film positioning and marketing, low budget films, scriptwriting for international markets, book adaptation, new and cross-media content, and international co-production and animation.
