Summer Issue 2010
The EU’s Culture programme (2007-2013) has a budget of €400 million for projects to celebrate Europe’s cultural diversity and enhance our shared cultural heritage through the development of cross-border co-operation between cultural operators and institutions.
The funded activities help promote the goals of the European Agenda for Culture, the anchor of European cooperation on culture policy. Member State experts, culture civil society and the European Commission are working together on the common goals of promoting cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue, making the most of culture as a catalyst for creativity, and developing the vital role of culture in international relations.
