National approaches to Intercultural Dialogue in Europe
An ERICarts study for the European Commission
Following an open invitation to tender, the European Commission selected the European Institute for Comparative Cultural Research (the ERICarts Institute) to carry out this study.
From January to December 2007, ERICarts worked together with a group of 12 key experts / special advisors and 37 national correspondents to investigate concepts of intercultural dialogue, their challenges to different sectors such as culture, education, sports and youth, and the main actors involved in their promotion.
The study includes 50 recommendations to European and national actors.
