The Best in Heritage is an annual survey of award-winning museums and heritage and conservation projects from around the world, organised under the patronage of the International Council of Museums and in partnership with Europa Nostra.
The conference will consist of the the presentation of 24 award winners from around the world, including several laureates of the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Awards.
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of these examples of best practice, providing participants with insights into innovative practices, successful management approaches, and extraordinary professionalism.
In addition to the inspiring array of achievements in the fields of museums and heritage, the programme is rich in social and cultural content, organised with the help of Dubrovnik Museums, and is held in the Renaissance city core of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
