Poisoning.

These crayons poses a risk to children because:

1) crayons from the box with a picture of a butterfly and of a yellow colour contain 1534mg/kg Pb and 181,7 mg/kg Cr;

2) crayons from the box with a picture of a hippopotamus and of yellow colour contain 1028,1 mg/kg Pb and 165,2 mg/kg Cr and of green colour contain 318,3 mg/kg Pb;

3) crayons from the box with a picture of a hippopotamus and of yellow colour contain 882,4 mg/kg Pb and 134,3 mg/kg Cr and of dark yellow colour contain 297,5 mg/kg Pb and of turquoise colour contain 530,4 mg/kg Pb and 68,5 mg/kg Cr. The contents of lead and chrome exceed the limit of 90mg/kg for lead and 60mg/kg for chrome laid down by the standard.

This product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the European standard for toys EN 71-1.

Suffocation.

The product poses a serious risk of suffocation by strangulation because the cord of the jacket’s hood does not comply with the provisions of the European standard EN-14682, which states that clothing intended for children under 7 years of age or up to a height of 134 cm must not be designed, manufactured or supplied with drawstrings, functional cords or decorative cords in the hood or neck area.

This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive.

- hippopotamus toy contains 5,65 % by weight of butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) and 0,55 % by weight of bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP),

- dolphins toy contains 7,81 % by weight of butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) and 0,21 % by weight of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP).

These levels exceed the allowed maximum limit of 0,1 % by weight.

The toy does not comply with the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC. .

There is a risk of fire caused by PTC-starters fixed on the outer side of Danfoss compressors. PTC-starters produced before 1994 can cause electric arcs and those are documented responsible for several fires in Denmark.

Choking.

The product poses a serious risk of choking because the detached elements (grape berries) may be placed in mouth by children, causing choking and suffocation. During the tension test, when applying force less than 50 N elements (grape berries) become detached and fully fit in small parts cylinder (approx. diameter 2cm).

The product does not comply with the Directive 87/357/EEC on “Products which, appearing to be other than they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers” and the European standard on toys EN 71-1.

Fire.

The affected vehicles may have a potential risk of damage on engine harness. Due to the insufficient protection of engine harness, it could interfere with timing belt cover bolt head. Then it can cause wiring harness abrasion by vibration and engine malfunction by short circuit. After certain period of usage, the above condition may cause wire harness overheat and burning.

Injuries.

These vehicles can cause injuries because premature abrasion of the front-axle wheel bearings could cause the wheel to come off.

Polluted water may penetrate the wheel bearing from the front axle via the rear gasket and cause premature wear-out of the roller assemblies in the wheel bearings. Early symptoms of damage after the defect has occurred are optical warning indicators. Once the damage has progressed there are noises, changes in steering response, and a noticeable smell of overheated brake linings .
