- the chain and the sprocket are insufficiently guarded and exposed parts within 500 mm of seat so there is a risk of catching body parts/clothing in moving chain/sprocket;

- the battery which is located under the seat is not properly secured.

Injuries

This toy poses a serious risk of injuries because the size of the hole in the key of rigid polymeric material that turns the lock in the toy is such that a child's finger may become trapped in it. It will admit a gauge 5 mm in diameter but not a gauge 12 mm in diameter.

Although the injuries that may be sustained are minor, the risk is considered serious, as the product is intended for a very vulnerable group (under 3 years of age), the probability that the product will present the shortcoming mentioned is high, and it is, furthermore, easy for children to place their fingers in the hole in question under normal conditions of use.

The product does not comply with the Toy Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

- choking because during the tension test the toy broke and the small elements were detached from it. The small elements fitted within the small parts cylinder;

- strangulation because the length of a cord is 915 mm (strangulation hazard exists if the child gets the cord around its neck);

- suffocation because the plastic bag used as a packaging has an opening perimeter 510 mm and exceeds the limit laid down by the standard (380 mm). In addition, thickness of the plastic material is 0,004 mm and it is less than required by the standard 0,038 mm;

- injuries because the breaking points are sharp.

This toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

This product poses a risk of electric shock because:

- it is possible to touch live components with test probe;

- there is insufficient protection against accidental contact with metallic components, which are only separated from live components by primary insulation;

- the product failed the dielectric test between live components and accessible metal components;

- the appliance’s outer casing does not guarantee a level of protection against moisture consistent with its classification;

- the appliance does not withstand damp conditions likely to arise during normal use;

- the appliance failed the dielectric strength test;

- the appliance failed the voltage test on the pins;

- Class II appliances containing Class III components must be constructed in such a way that the insulation between components operating at safety extra-low voltage and other live components meets the requirements for double insulation or reinforced insulation;

- the plug on the appliance does not comply with standard;

- soldered joints are used, with no additional securing device;

- the appliance failed the ball pressure test.

This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335-1.

This product poses a risk of skin irritation due to release of metal because it contains an excessive level of nickel.

The migration value measured in the sample "plug" was 4.4 micrograms per square-cm/per week. With this, the limit value is exceeded multiple times. The limit value laid down in the EC-Directive 2004/99 and the German Commodities Ordinance is 0.2 micrograms nickel per square-cm/per week.

This product poses a risk of choking because during the test a tail of the toy and a wooden grip at the cord end have been detached at forces of 36.20 N and 40.32 respectively. Both elements fitted completely within the small parts cylinder.

This toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
