Electric shock

The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because the cross-sectional areas of the wires of the cord extension set do not meet the requirements: the cross-sectional area of the protective safety earth wire (green-yellow wire) is only about 0,2 mm². Therefore, the protective safety earth wire of the cord extension set may break in case of a fault condition occurred in a product connected to the extension cord set. In this case the protective safety earthing does not work and it causes a risk of electric shock.

The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standards.

- from the release of metal because the green paint of the toy contains lead at level of 290 mg/kg whereas the limit set in the relevant European standard EN 71-3 is 90 mg/kg. Lead is a poisonous heavy metal and it can cause dangerous health defects especially to small children; - from choking because the clown-shaped head of the toy fits into the small balls cylinder (template E). It can therefore enter and block the airway at the back of the mouth and upper throat of children contrary to the requirements of the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Injury

In some Captiva vehicles the retaining clip connecting the brake booster push rod with the brake pedal may not be installed. If this is a case the brake booster rod can be separated from the brake pedal-mounting pin by the repeated brake pedalling operation. In the consequence the loss of the braking function by the brake pedal is possible.
