Risk of electric shock. Due to similar appearance, risk of confusion with a circuit tester for 230 volts. Lack of warnings and safety instructions and the barely legible inscription on the tester “6V-12V-24V" make it likely that its misuse will lead to the risk of electrocution (internal resistance of around 500 ohms). In addition, the tester can be opened without difficulty and can therefore be tampered with. The product does not comply with the LVD Directive.

Compulsory measures: Placing on the market suspended by the authority. Remaining stocks will be destroyed.

Health risk. A concern relating to the anti-rotation shim between seatbelt stalk fastener and seat. Excessive clearance is liable to occur on the stalk fasteners of the rear side seatbelts when system is subjected to a high level of stress under specific operating conditions. In extreme cases, such clearance may eventually result in the loosening of stalk fastener.

After the third incident O2 has appointed a different specialist testing house and also submitted the earlier two damaged devices together with chargers for re-testing. O2 is still awaiting the results of this latest round of testing.

Reebok has received a report of a death caused by lead poisoning of a 4-year old child in the US. The child reportedly swallowed a piece from one of these bracelets

Risk of electric shock. The product does not meet the safety requirements and presents risk of electric shock because: the earth terminal is missing, the part of the resistance that is going to be connected to the terminals is not covered with a nonconducting material in order to prevent the passage or leakage of electricity and there is the possibility to come into contact the electric resistance and the metal enclosure of the product. There is not a sign indicating the Class II of protection.

Compulsory measures: Sale of the product has been banned and withdrawal from the market has been ordered by authority.
