Risk of injury. Different rung spacing can be set when retracting the ladder. When the ladder segment locking catch is operated, the segment may snap shut, with the possibility of crushing on the tubes and between the rungs. The warnings affixed are not adequate and the risk of entrapment should be precluded by the design. The maximum load is not marked on the ladder. This product does not comply with the European Standard.

Voluntary measures: Placing on the market voluntary stopped and recall of the product by importer.

The saw presents the risk of injury because: the saw blade hits the movable saw blade guard, the pivoting carriage bends and saw blade hits the edge of the slot in the carriage (when operating with big trunk), the run-down time of the saw blade is too long, the opening in the open side of the fixed saw blade guard is too wide.

Fault in the positioning of the stop located on the floor under the accelerator pedal.

If the stop is incorrectly positioned, there is a risk of temporarily being unable to accelerate previously programmed speed, with the speed limiter function activated, or of not being able to activate the kick down function for vehicles with automatic gearboxes. Danger of accident during overtaking.

In certain Hilux models, when operating in conditions of low exterior temperature and with a small quantity of fuel in the tank, there is a possibility of entering air in the fuel pump, through the pipe that returns the fuel. Such an eventuality may result in failing to start the engine or interruption of its operation.

Information about the reacting countries is available in the RAPEX weekly overviews in the column 'Products were found and measures were taken also in'. The Commission RAPEX team will publish reactions sent (from May2009 onwards) to 2009 RAPEX notifications.
