Risk of electric shock and fire. Creepage distances and clearances for live parts and accessible parts are less than the required values: plate: cr: 4,62mm, plate: cl: 3,2m (instead of ≥ 6,5mm). The conductors’ cross-sectional area is 0,10mm2 (instead of ≥ 0,50mm2). Internal wiring Cross-sectional area: 0,10mm2 (must be ≥0,50mm2). There is no cord anchorage on the flashing unit. The length of the cable between the plug and the first lamb is 1,0m (instead of ≥1,5m). User instructions only in English and French. There in no warning to inform the consumers that this is an indoor lightening chain only. This product does not comply with the LVD Directive and the European Standard.

Risk of electric shock. In the sockets the distances measured between the side earth contacts are shorter than required, therefore the earth contacts are folded during normal use and the earthing is not ensured. The appliance connected to the cord extension set may cause electric shock.

Risk of fire. The candle exhibits unsafe burning characteristics and poses a potential fire risk. The containers get excessively hot, heavy clubbing and the formation of secondary wicks causing overheating resulted in the flare up of molten wax. Fire in complainant’s home - Burnt coffee table.

Risk of electric shock and fire. The mains cable provided with a switch is directly connected to the lamp holder. The luminaire assemble has only basic insulation and the wires are accessible by the standard test finger. If the insulation get damaged electric shock may occur. The cord anchorage is not appropriate. The dimensions of the plug do not comply with the standard. The temperature of the internal PVC wire was 79,1°C (while the maximum value is: 75°C).

The Danish authority has tested 923 types of rockets (each of them contained between 75 g and 300 g of explosives - category 3 according to EN 14035-27. 547 rockets mass detonated during tests (nearly all rockets in the packaging exploded almost at once and the packaging was split apart).

High-voltage test failed. Incorrect lamp fitting E 10 (permitted up to 60 volts only). Air gap and creep distance at lamp fitting has only 0.4 mm (min. 3.6 mm required). Instructions are available only in English. None of the markings prescribed in the standard are present. The product does not comply with the LVD Directive and the European Standard.

Risk of burns, fire. Lighter is in the shape of a gun, which is commonly recognised as appealing to children. The safety requirement states that lighters shall not be in the shape of a novelty lighter. For lighting the flame, only one simple movement is needed, namely to press the trigger.

Screws for holding isolating plate between unearthed metallic enclosure of motor, separated from winding with basic insulation only, and metallic guard, in case the screw become loose creepage distance and clearance for supplementary insulation is reduced to 1,3 mm. Creepage distance and clearance acc. to table 13 shall be not less than 4 mm. Internal wiring is in contact with the metallic housing of motor, which has sharp edge. The conductor is connected to the metallic housing of motor. Conductor is cutted inside the fan stand. Fan is provided with the flat cord and the plug for class II appliances. There is no provision for earthing.

Risk of burning, electric shock. Measured temperature rise of a wall of the test corner during the test was more than 300 K. (the maximum allowed temperature rise is 150 K.). Flat female connector of earth conductor is not made according to standard. The breakdown occurred between live parts and accessible metal parts when the appliance was subjected to electric strength test. During the tests the liquid came into appliance. This product does not comply with the European Standards.

Risk of suffocation, strangulation and injury. The toy was broken during the test and small elements detached from the toy. These small elements fit completely within the small parts cylinder. The free length of cord is 640 mm and there is a strangulation hazard. The plastic bag used for packaging has an opening perimeter 600 mm (allowed 380 mm). The warning “Not for children under 3 years” is placed on the packaging but this toys is intended mostly for children younger than 3 years. The toy does no comply with the Toys Directive and the European Standards.

Compulsory measures: Placing on the market prohibited by the authority. The economic operator was obliged to inform the consumers about the recall.

Risk of choking and damage to hearing. The whistle- mechanism entered the toy during the pulling test. The warning “Not for children under 3 years” is placed on the packaging but this toys is intended mostly for children younger than 3 years. The toy present risk of damage to hearing because the sound pressures level exceeds the limit by 5,7 dBA to 7,4 dBA. The toy does no comply with the Toys Directive and the European Standards.

Compulsory measures: Placing on the market prohibited by the authority. The economic operator was obliged to inform the consumers about the recall
