Study on the Intersection between contract law and a) tort law and b) property law

In November 2001 the Council proposed that consideration be given to the areas of non-contractual liability and property ( Report by the Council on the need to harmonise the legislation of the Member States in civil matters).

The European Parliament has also adopted a Resolution in November 2001 where it underlines that issues relating to, inter alia, non contractual liability and property law should also be addressed at EU level.
