We are what we eat!

“Eat what you’re given”. Not so long ago that’s what your parents were told because the options were so limited. Today however, we are spoilt for choice and so the question is what to choose for the best given that food is now so plentiful.

The best recipe

A balanced diet combined with regular exercise is the best recipe for a healthy life. We all know that, but with so many competing demands for our time, the problem is often that cooking a proper meal or taking some exercise is not top of the list. It’s about making choices.

A healthy lifestyle will make you feel better – you’ll have more energy and find yourself in a better mood. Here are some tips to get you started:

  • Don't skip meal times
  • Eat lots of fruit and vegetables
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Avoid sweets and fizzy drinks
  • Go easy on fatty foods
  • Exercise regularly
