Public discussion forum for specific projects 2005

A public discussion forum (with a discussion coordinator), functioning in English, is available to applicant organisations. This forum can facilitate contacts between interested organisations, both for exchanging information and looking for possible partners.

This forum allows applicant organisations to consult the Commission about any difficulties which they might encounter while preparing their applications and for which the explanatory guide has not provided a solution. It is important to note that information relating to the call for proposals, questions and answers of general interest, additional instructions to applicant organisations, etc. will be disseminated only through this forum.

The forum offers the following services:

  • Information: Provides access to information pages in HTML format and to useful links to other sites;
  • Library: Provides access to the library, which is a repository of documents organised in sections and sub-sections. Documents can be viewed, downloaded or sent to you by e-mail. Users can be automatically notified by e-mail of any change in any particular section of the Library;
  • Directory: Access the list of Members that have access to your Interest Group;
  • Newsgroups: Provides a forum for discussion among members of workgroups or projects;
  • E-mail: Gives you access to an e-mail functionality integrating mailing lists for addressing all members;
  • Search: Allows for multilingual search on any document or information you have access to;
  • Help: Online help.

How to access the forum?

The forum, entitled "Consumer Policy - Call for Specific Projects 2005", is hosted on the Commission CIRCA (Communication and Information Resource Center for Administration) application. Access to the forum can be made through this website.

At the top of the page users are asked either to "Sign in" or "Sign up". People who already have access to CIRCA should "sign in" using their username and password. New members are asked to click on "sign up" where they must complete an identification form. On completing this form, a username and password is sent by e-mail to the new member who can then "sign in" to the forum.

Here, you can download a user manual with practical guidelines on how to access and perform the most basic operations in CIRCA.
