Non-crisis State aid consists of expenditure by Member States, which was either made for horizontal objectives of common interest or granted to dedicated sectors of the economy and specific objectives, such as rescue and restructuring aid.
Aid granted to the financial sector as a response to the financial and economic crisis is excluded from the non-crisis State aid data. The corresponding information is provided in the section Crisis-related aid.
