Round table on environmental protection and climate change

The Commissioner for competition, Ms Neelie Kroes, hosted a full-day Round Table event on "Environmental Protection and Climate Change - Cost, Opportunities and the Role of Public Support" on 27 May in Brussels.
The purpose of this event was to put environmental State aid policy in the right economic and political context and to stimulate an exchange of views between industry, politicians, the financial community, analysts, stakeholders and policy-makers.
