  • The meeting will be an occasion to discuss and prepare together the Competitiveness Council of 29 May

  • The two will have an exchange of views on some matters of mutual concern: SME support, innovation and entrepreneurship, and tourism

  • The meeting will focus on the instruments the EU puts at disposal of SMEs to overcome the crisis and the opportunities in Europe and outside.

  • The meeting will focus on how IADB can support efforts in opening Latin America to European SMEs (and vice versa), the common struggle in ensuring we have the right skills for our work force and how tourism can play a role in supporting economy growth.

  • The Committee on Industry, Research and Energy of the European Parliament will hold an exchange of views in the framework of the Structured Dialogue with Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship.

    It will take place on 29/05/2013 from 16h30 to 17h30 in room Altiero Spinelli (5G-3).

• 30Participation to the 20th Anniversary of Federturismo (Rome)

  • Federturismo Confindustria is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. The event will be divided into two sessions: one in the morning, from 10.00 to 13.30, reserved for entrepreneurs of the system, in which Professor Ejarque, after an introduction by the President Iorio, will present the final document. The presentation will be followed by interventions by the public. In the afternoon, from 14.30, in the presence of the President of Confindustria Squinzi, the Vice President of the European Commission Tajani and other influential guests, the twentieth anniversary of the Federation will be celebrated.
