Commission hits equal opportunity targets 11 months in advance
Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič marked International Women's Day by highlighting the European Commission’s achievements in equal opportunities at a conference on 7 March. The targets he set in 2010 for the three areas where women were under-represented - 25% for senior management, 30% for middle management and 43% for non-management administrator posts - have already been met, 11 months ahead of schedule.
