Pan-European Information Session: EU Careers Pilot Webcast

EU careers logo

As part of our work to help inform potential candidates across Europe about EU Careers, we will be broadcasting a pilot 'webcast' over the internet on the 20th January.

This will follow the format of presentations that we usually try to give at universities and careers events- unfortunately we can never visit as many as we like so we hope we can reach more people through this initiative.

The webcast will feature:

- An introduction by the Director of the European Personnel Selection Office, David Bearfield.
- Information from at least two current EU officials who will tell you about their work and life in Brussels.
- A brief presentation from an EPSO member of staff on the selection procedures that we use to find the best people to become an EU official.

It will also include a question and answer session with questions from the audience. You can take part too! During the session just go to Twitter (www.twitter.com/eu_careers) and post questions starting with @EU_Careers and ending with the tag #eucareersqanda. You will need to sign up for a Twitter account in advance.

Key Information;

When: 20th January 16h-17h, CET.
Where:  Here  (PLEASE NOTE- Anyone accessing from the European Commission network will need to access it here )

We hope you have the time to watch the broadcast and find it informative.

We look forward to seeing you on the 20th (well, you seeing us..!)

NB- This pilot will be webcast in English only. If successful then future webcasts will be available in multiple languages.
